If you are a CDL driver and live in or around Milwaukee or Southern Wisconsin this position may be for you! As one of our CDL truck drivers you will be responsible for the safe operation of our refrigerated straight trucks (all are less than one year old) and the reliable delivery of our products to our foodservice customers. Best of all, you will be home every night! Our driver position is a Full Time, position with benefits (after probationary period)
TO QUALIFY: CDL-A or CDL-B LICENSE IS REQUIRED
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Adherence to all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Deliver to 8-15 customers per day.
• Maintaining proper trip records related to distance/miles and product delivery.
• Confirm all deliveries are correct with reference to the invoice, truck temperature, and product quality.
• Call in all discrepancies to Dispatch Office and record Credit Memo #s for customers
• Get customer signatures on all invoices and RMAs
• Ensure proper storage of equipment upon returning to the building
• Follow procedures as it relates to processing of returned and/or extra product
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a valid Medical Examiners Certificate
• Must consent to a review of Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Must pass a Department of Labor Drug and Alcohol Test
• Must be able to comprehend (read and write) the English language
• The position requires walking, standing, bending, twisting, and reaching 6-8 hours per day
• Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
• Be able to count and perform basic math skills
• Have basic written and verbal English language communication skills
• Must be pleasant and approachable, they will be the face of Testa when delivering product to our valued customers
